About Us
Hal Brody,
our founder and president, has a long history of entrepreneurial
experience. Out of college he started a chain of record
stores as well as an independent distribution business
specializing in small record labels. After selling these
businesses in the 1980ís Hal focused his attention on
publishing. He started a monthly music magazine, which
eventually evolved into one of the largest alternative
newsweeklies in the country. Halís interest in tea became
peaked by his interest in maintaining good health and
through his extensive travels.
Melody Lane,
our general manager and principal in the company, has
brought a vast amount of knowledge to the operation. She
has traveled and lived in many different parts of the
world and has a long history in the restaurant business,
specializing in gourmet offerings to the fine arts community.

Mission
Tea Drops seeks to educate and
enhance awareness into the simple and complex world of
tea, from its uncomplicated
preparation and enjoyment to its multifaceted processing
and diverse benefits. Tea Drops imports a comprehensive
inventory of high-grade loose-leaf teas as well as a thorough
assortment of popular pearl drinks also known as bubble
teas. High quality espresso drinks and other beverages
are also served alongside delicious gourmet pastries and
snacks.
